David to don the mask as the Phantom

David will be donning the mask as the Phantom when he takes over the lead role in the Phantom of the Opera from Ramin Karimloo on Monday, November 9, 2009.

David previously played the role of Raoul at Her Majesty’s Theatre, London from September 2005 to October 2006.

David’s last performance as Valjean in Les Miserables will be on Saturday, 10 October, 2009.

David to play Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar In Concert

David will be playing the role of Judas in a concert version of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar at the National Concert Hall, Dublin on Wednesday, 28 October and Thursday, 29 October 2009. The concert will feature the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Hill and will also star Steve Balsamo as Jesus Christ, Jacinta Whyte as Mary Magdalene and Pat Shortt as Herod.
